Positive East is one of London’s largest community-led HIV and Sexual Health charities. Last year celebrated our 30th anniversary and we deliver services across East London as part of our local contracts, and pan-London as part of the GMI Partnership.

Our Prevention & Support offer includes:
- HIV & STI testing in-person and online
- Community workshops covering sexual wellbeing and HIV & STI prevention
- Information stalls and resource distribution
- One to one support in-person, through LiveChat, hook-up apps, email and phone
- Training and awareness raising to professionals
Our Health and Wellbeing services for people living with HIV includes:
- Counselling
- Support Groups
- Peer Mentoring
- Seminars and workshops
- Onsite gym and Café (suspended during Covid)
- Advice and support with housing, finance (including benefits and welfare system) and immigration.
- Re:Assure Women’s Project, our specialist psychology service for HIV positive women who are asylum seekers and refugees
We offer a range of volunteering opportunities across our service delivery, research, marketing, fundraising and administrative support.
