If you have the lived experience and knowledge of using one of our mental health crisis telephone lines, East London NHS Foundation Trust really want to hear from you about some suggested changes to the way the service is delivered.
They will be holding drop-in events in July 2023 across the City & Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets, aimed towards current or previous users of their mental health crisis telephone lines across these boroughs.

About our mental health crisis lines
When someone is experiencing a mental health crisis, it can be an upsetting and distressing time, for them and the people around them.
That is why East London NHS Foundation Trust remain committed to providing a mental health crisis Freephone support line, staffed by qualified, knowledgeable and empathetic mental health professionals who are there to respond to every call, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round. A service for everyone living in City & Hackney, Newham or Tower Hamlets.
Their intention is to ensure that people using the service continue to get the same or an improved level of care, while also continuing best staff practices to provide consistency in experience and equity of care.
They want to make sure that service users themselves are at the centre of planning these changes.
Your expertise and experiences can help them to plan and make sure their Freephone mental health crisis line is truly responsive to what people need when they call for help and advice.
By working together we can continue to keep improving our service, to keep making it better for people when they need it.
