Should there be more Black, Asian and minority-ethnic people in senior and community leadership roles in the borough?
Tower Hamlets Council thinks so and is calling on residents to take part in a project which aims to encourage more people from those communities, currently under-represented in these roles, to feel that such roles are for them – and to apply.
Ahead of the launch of the “I Can Be” project later this year, the council wants to find out more how residents would like to be communicated with and which channels work best for different groups. Help shape the project to encourage more people from under-represented communities to take up leadership roles and to be part of a positive change.
