Tower Hamlets Homes (THH) and Wapping Youth FC want to empower young people aged 16 – 24 to take ownership of their community and deliver projects that will make a difference to residents. We want to give young people a voice, provide them with the tools and resources to invest in their community and offer young people the opportunity to represent our governance structure. We want to work with young people driven to become ambassadors of their neighbourhoods and take pride in their area.
The Youth Ambassadors Programme is for young people who are:
- Aged 16 – 24
- Passionate about their local community and making a difference in young people’s lives
- Tower Hamlets residents
Young people who participate in the Youth Ambassadors Programme will receive:
- Level 2 QCF in Project Management
- Employment Skills
- Support to apply for funding to deliver their community project
The Youth Ambassadors Programme will run from March 2022 to August 2022. Young people will complete a Level 2 QCF in Project Management, attending fortnightly sessions at the Financial Health Centre, Raynham House, Massingham Street, E1 4EB. The session will be on a Tuesday from 6.00 pm – 9.00 pm.
