NHS North East London (NHS NEL) is seeking feedback on our proposed new fertility policy that outlines the NHS help available for people who are trying to get pregnant via an online survey.
How you can help: NHS NEL want to hear what you think about their proposed changes and for you to share the below information among your networks. You can do this by directing people to their website – to read the engagement document, proposed new policy and supporting documents, and to fill in their online survey by 22 August 2022.
NHS NEL are particularly interested in hearing from people who have experienced fertility problems, and who are from under-represented groups that are less likely to have their voices heard by decision-makers – this includes Black and minority ethnic people and the LGBTQ+ community.
They are also holding a series of online events for the public to find out more and ask questions. The events are open to anyone living in north east London, so please encourage your members, service users and other people in your networks to attend, if relevant. Dates and details of how to book a place are available on their website.
If you would like NHS NEL to come to one of your meetings or events to discuss the changes and answer questions, please email nelondon.nelcommunications@nhs.net.
