Free workshops for women: Textiles & Fabrics and Networking

Neha Mathew, an MA Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation student at London College of Fashion, UAL, is  currently working on her Master’s Project. As part of her project, she is planning to deliver workshops in August where  participants will be taught technical skills like sewing and hand-embroidery to repurpose textile leftover fabrics into home decor products in collaboration with a training organisation and a home decor brand.

Participants can also benefit from the sessions by networking and becoming a part of a social enterprise’s community which can lead to long-term collaborations and potential employment opportunities.

Neha is looking for 5-7 South Asian women who are looking for jobs and would be interested in attending this series of workshops free of charge in London.
