Tower Hamlets Council will be hosting a free online event on the 24th June

at 6-8pm – open to all residents, particularly those from Black African and

Black Caribbean Communities across London.

Tower Hamlets Council will be hosting a free online event on the 24th June

at 6-8pm – open to all residents, particularly those from Black African and

Black Caribbean Communities across London.

 

The event will be an opportunity for those members of our community

to hear from our panel of Public Health professionals, Senior Clinicians

and Faith Leaders. The panel discussions will include vaccine hesitancy,

misconceptions about Covid-19 and provide accurate information to enable

the community to make informed decisions about the Covid 19 vaccination.

Questions can be submitted in advance and there will be opportunity to raise

question during the event.

 

This event will be co-chaired by Pastor James Olanipekun and the panel

will include; Dr Somen Banerjee, Director of Public Health Tower Hamlets,

Dr Vanessa Apea, Barts Health NHS Trust, Pastor Maxwell Negbenose,

Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Joshua Bandele, Christ Apostolic

Church and Adeola Agbebiyi, Assistant Director for Public Health Newham.
