London Borough of Tower Hamlets in collaboration with Newham African Caribbean Resource Centre welcome you to celebrate Black History.
  • Saturday, 23 October / 6.00 to 9.00pm – Faith, Health and Wellbeing in a pandemic period
  • Tuesday, 26 October / 6.00 to 9.00pm – Sexual health, health inequalities & midwifery of Black Caribbean women and the impact of Covid-19
  • Friday, 5 November / 6.00 to 9.00pm – Vaccine safety, medical racism & Newham African Caribbean Resource Centre’s remarkable achievements pre, during and post Windrush
What it’s About
  • Newham African Caribbean Resource Centre is working in collaboration with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets to promote good health and encourage action to protect citizens, particularly members of the Caribbean community in the Borough who remain hesitant despite the disproportionate afflictions and deaths from Covid-19.
  • The first part of the work involves a series of three FREE community conservations mixed with Caribbean cultural arts performances outlined on the attached flyer.
