Tower Hamlets Homes in partnership with Aid Training are delivering a Free Level 2 Mental Health First Aid Training for Young People for 14 – 21 year olds.
Mental health is a priority, especially during COVID-19 we saw an uprise of more people suffering and coming forward about their worries and stress. It is important as a community we advocate support and have a go to champion who residents feel comfortable to go to who can listen, support and signpost. The qualification provides knowledge to help practitioners recognise a range of mental health conditions. You will be able to identify and manage stress and understand the impact of substance abuse. The learning will enable you to identify when a person may need to seek professional help and support.
