Exploring social prescribing across the life course, from childhood to ageing well

Tuesday 28 March / 9:30-11.00am

This webinar will explore the role of social prescribing at various stages of life, presenting a selection of speakers focusing on the areas of childhood, working age and older people, as well as an intergenerational example. Taking a life course approach means considering the key life stages, transitions and settings where there are significant opportunities to promote or improve health and wellbeing. This includes the conditions in which people are born, live and age. In this way, adopting a life course approach could help to increase the benefits and impact of social prescribing.

Speakers include:

  • Intro: Elaine Rashbrook, Public Health Consultant Specialist, Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, Department of Health and Social Care
