Learn how to report on your financial activities. This session will introduce you to the reporting requirements needed for voluntary groups.

Good financial management is key to running your organisation well.  When done well, it provides assurance to your funders that you are a ‘safe’ pair of hands for them to fund; it helps you plan ahead; and it helps you prepare budgets that cover your costs when applying for funding.

Using best practice guidance, this session will help you understand the value of financial management and help you set up 3 basic financial management templates to get you going.

Learning Outcomes:

-Understand the importance of financial regulations for an organisation and what’s expected of you…

-Understand what financial controls are and why they are important for your organisation.

-Design basic financial management tools such as budgets, budget monitoring and cash flow reports, etc.

Please note this event is aimed at Voluntary Organisations based or delivering work in the borough of Tower Hamlets, we have limited places so we will give priority to these groups.

Refreshments and networking from 9:30 am, training will start promptly at 10:00am
