Booster engagement with Bangladeshi community – Information session 1

Some funding has become available for booster engagement with Bangladeshi community (via NEL CCG), aiming to increase booster uptake. The difference between the most vaccinated group (White British) and the least vaccinated (Bangladeshi) is 40%; this is even more prominent for the Aged 75+ cohort. NHS North East London CCG are aiming to raise awareness amongst professionals working with residents, join forces and put ideas together on how we can jointly encourage booster uptake and help protect elderly members of our community. Some of the suggestions included intergenerational sessions, encouraging family members/ young people to have conversations with elderly, call & recall… The NEL CCG are keen to hear your ideas and what could work in your context.
