THCVS would like to invite you to attend the second BAME Network meeting.
About this event
THCVS recently conducted an assessment of BAME led organizations on their beneficiary’s health disparities. All the organizations identified the mental health of their service users as a major disparity.
The BAME networking event is therefore to raise awareness with the network of local services that are working to support residents.
There will also be a dialogue around the Race Pledge. This is towards Tower Hamlets commitment to taking radical steps towards dismantling long-standing structural racism and become an anti-racist borough by 2025.
What does a race pledge mean to the BAME communities, its implementation and monitoring?
