You are invited to come and join a diverse group of women from different paths of life and of all ages, for an inspiring afternoon to celebrate International Women’s Day. The afternoon will be packed with fun & entertainment. You will also get to hear from some of the most prominent and inspiring female speakers including politicians and other special guests.
Women have come far in life and we take this opportunity to recognize our achievements.
There will be opportunities to discuss about issues that directly affect us, and what we can do collectively to achieve positive change.
There will be hot/cold drinks, halal and vegetarian refreshments available. Feel free to bring along your children under 10. We encourage you to wear cultural attire if you’d like to.
The event is co-organised by Women 100, Citizens UK, Queen Mary University, East London Mosque, Near Neighbours and Account 3.
