Early Help & Children’s and Families Services have partnered up with local providers WORKPATH and Sugarman Education to secure paid work in Tower Hamlets schools. These opportunities are available for all families who live in Tower Hamlets who have a child 0-19 years old (25 years old with SEND).
Requirements:
- Must be a parent/carer living in Tower Hamlets with a child 0-19 years old (25 years old with SEND)
- Must be willing to work on a Full-time basis (8:45am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday)
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience working with or supporting children in any setting
- Have completed a Childcare/ Teaching Assistant course L2 and above or willing to enrol on a programme.
- Have qualifications in both Maths and English A-C or equivalent, if not willing to work towards these
Job Details:
• Working in either a Teaching Assistant Capacity or Learning Support Assistant role in a Primary/ Secondary or SEN School in Tower Hamlets
• Role will include supporting children in all aspects of Learning, Development and Care
• Vacancies in local schools in Tower Hamlets but other opportunities also available in Newham, Hackney and Camden
• Weekly Pay (Every Friday) • Salary is £70-£95 per day depending on experience
• Job offers subject to DBS and satisfactory reference checks
All jobs are due to start in September 2023
