Alternative Arts presents an exhibition celebrating women’s sport with contemporary images by women photographers and archive material from Bishopsgate Institute, Tower Hamlets Sports Development, the Brady Club Archive and London Metropolitan Archives. In the year of the Women’s Football World Cup, they look at the diversity of women’s sport with current photographs of boxing, weightlifting, pole dancing, running, rowing, football, netball, cycling, badminton, exercising, and fashion alongside archive images from the 20th Century.
