Lucy Alexander from Creative Minds will be delivering an accessible and empowering art session. Sessions allow people to express themselves through the creative process, explore various art mediums and art forms and experiment with a huge variety of techniques and processes. This session, which will run as part of the coffee and connect will be inspired by the Turner Prize winning artist, Veronica Ryan.
Veronica made a large sculpture of a custard apple, breadfruit, and soursop in Hackney to commemorate the Windrush. You will make your own fruit sculptures using modelling materials, tissue paper and watercolours.
