As part of Race Equality Week at London Youth, this training introduces culturally competent youth mentoring, allowing new and experienced mentors to develop confidence in mentoring young people of colour. Exploring styles of youth mentoring used to navigate systemic biases. Attendees will reflect on why, and how youth mentoring can be successful when supporting Black and Global Majority youth in navigating structural barriers whilst developing confidence in their position and purpose as in the UK.
