This session is aimed at supporting local partners to gain an understanding of what Crack & Stimulant use and dependency looks like, it’s impact and associated risks, physically, mentally and socially. Alongside this, we will identify and explore available.
The session is designed to be accessed by all staff from various community agencies and groups including:
- Mental Health
- Adult and Child Social Care
- Housing
- Probation/DIP/Community Safety
- Hostels
- Primary Care
- Employment and Education Services
- Local Community Groups
By the end of the workshop you will have some basic understanding of:
- Crack & Stimulants and reasons for their use
- The signs of Crack & Stimulant use, dependency and withdrawal
- The physical, psychological and social impact associated with Crack & Stimulants
- Legal considerations
- How Crack & Stimulant dependency is treated
- What support options are available locally and nationally
- How to refer individuals into treatment for Crack & Stimulant related issues in Tower Hamlets
