A number of organisations have contacted us about how to submit details of their insurance policies with their LCF bids.
Ideally we would like a copy of each certificate scanned in and uploaded as one document. That should give us all the information we need.
If your insurance documents are in a number of PDF files this may be challenging. If you can, please try to ‘crack’ the PDF documents and merge the certificate pages. However, if you do not have the relevant software we will accept a single word document listing each policy with all the key details, ie:
Type of insurance
Name of provider
If your bid is successful these details can then be confirmed as part of the mobilisation process.

Apologies if you are not in the process of submitting a bid for the Local Community Fund and feel bombarded by ‘LCF updates’. Unfortunately, as the council do not know which organisations are intending to submit bids, they have to disseminate information as widely as possible to potential bidders. Up to now they have done this through FAQs but as the deadline approaches they are taking a more direct approach. The deadline is now only a week away so hopefully these emails will then dramatically reduce in number. We will continue to circulate details of funding opportunities and other information which might be of interest to VCS organisations but if you would like to be removed from this mailing list, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
