Healthwatch Tower Hamlets Community Insights Fund launches!
Opens - 11th February, closes 13th March
What is the Community Insights Fund
Funding of between £300 and £3,000 will be available for voluntary, community and faith organisations to provide feedback from local people who we seldom hear from in terms of their experience of health and wellbeing services and support.
The groups where we currently have gaps in our insights are:
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer/Questioning
- Black African and Caribbean (not Somali)
- Eastern European
- Chinese and Vietnamese
- People using social care and community health services
- People living with Cancer
What are we looking for?
We understand that some groups may already have feedback from these target groups and we are not necessarily asking you to go out and gather more, just to share what you have. We can take data in a wide range of formats including: comments, surveys, interviews, focus group and workshop notes, minutes of meetings, monitoring reports, research reports. Anything really that includes the opinions of people on local health and care services. One organisations data might not be enough to influence services but if we all join our data together we have statically significant evidence to bring about change.
It can be about any health and care service including: GPs, hospitals, mental health, social care, sexual health, district nursing and community services, physical and learning disability, dentistry, care homes, public health and prevention etc. It can also include the wider determinants of health such as housing, employment and whether people feel safe.
