DESCRIPTION:Monday 24 July 2023\, 1.30pm – 4pm\, free on ZoomWould you li
 ke your volunteers to stay on longer with your organisation? This practica
 l and interactive Zoom session will look at good practice and provide tips
  on encouraging them to continue volunteering with your organisation. We w
 ill cover:\n\n 	Identifying volunteers’ motivations and how you can acco
 mmodate them\n 	Detecting key ‘pressure points’ at which a volunteer m
 ay leave and how to address the issues\n 	Thinking about progression route
 s for existing volunteers\n 	Adapting your volunteer induction\, training 
 and supervision processes to focus on retention\n 	Ensuring that volunteer
 s and staff have realistic expectations\n 	Creating a ‘volunteer friendl
 y’ culture\n 	Sharing ideas on types of reward and recognition\n\nThis s
 ession is suitable for experienced Volunteer Managers as well as those who
  are new to managing volunteers.\nVenue: Zoom. If you are allocated a plac
 e\, you will be sent a Zoom link to access the training.Priority will be g
 iven to voluntary sector organisations with a base/office in Tower Hamlets
 \, or that have services aimed at Tower Hamlets residents.*Cost:Our traini
 ng programme is kindly subsidised by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets (
 LBTH).\n\n\n 	The session is FREE to voluntary sector and public sector or
 ganisations with a base/office in Tower Hamlets\, or that have services sp
 ecifically aimed at Tower Hamlets residents.  However\, there is a non-at
 tendance charge of £50 and this charge will be invoiced to your organisat
 ion if you do not attend without giving 48 hours’ notice. There is no ch
 arge incurred if bookings are cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the sta
 rt of the session.\n 	For any organisation without a base or services in T
 ower Hamlets\, the session costs £50 per person.   The fee is non-refun
 dable\, unless you give 48 hours’ notice of cancellation. \n\nRegister
