SUMMARY:Training for Volunteer Managers: Recruiting the Right Volunteers
DESCRIPTION:Thursday 23 February\, 2pm – 4.30pm\, FREE* session on Zoom\n
 \nMany organisations are finding that there is a reduced supply of volunte
 ers due to the cost of living crisis and the ongoing fallout from the pand
 emic. In this practical and interactive online training\, we will consider
  how your organisation can adapt to the changing context and recruit the r
 ight volunteers to continue delivering vital services.\n\nWe will look at 
 what might currently motivate people to volunteer\, adapting or framing ro
 les to be more attractive to potential volunteers\, reducing barriers\, of
 fering more development opportunities and exploring different recruitment 
 methods/channels for advertising your volunteer opportunities.\n\nThis ses
 sion is suitable for experienced Volunteer Managers\, as well as those who
  are new to managing volunteers. Priority will be given to voluntary secto
 r organisations with a base/office in Tower Hamlets\, or that have service
 s aimed at Tower Hamlets residents.\n\nVenue: online on Zoom.\n\nCost: Th
 is training programme is kindly subsidised by the London Borough of Tower 
 Hamlets. The session is FREE to voluntary sector and public sector organis
 ations with a base/office in Tower Hamlets\, or that have services specifi
 cally aimed at Tower Hamlets residents. For any organisation without a bas
 e or services in Tower Hamlets\, the session costs £50 per person. The fe
 e is non-refundable\, unless you give 48 hours’ notice of cancellation.\
