 olunteer Policy last reviewed? Are you confident that it reflects good pra
 ctice? Or maybe you don’t yet have a Volunteer Policy? A robust Voluntee
 r Policy is the minimum element of good practice if your organisation invo
 lves volunteers.  \n\nIf you are applying to the LBTH Mayor’s Communit
 y Grants Programme\, this training will cover all the volunteering-related
  requirements of the organisation assessment.\n\nThis practical workshop w
 ill cover: \n\n 	essential components of a Volunteer Policy\n 	legal requ
 irements\n 	key best practice procedures for managing volunteers\, includi
 ng a recruitment process\, role descriptions\, training for volunteers and
  volunteer expenses\n 	key supplementary policies\, such as an Equal Oppor
 tunities Policy and Problem Solving Process for Volunteers\n 	making your 
 policy accessible to different audiences (volunteers\, staff\, senior mana
 gers)\n\nBy the end of the session\, you will be confident in developing/u
 pdating your Volunteer Policy.  After the training\, VCTH can provide 1-1
  support to develop or review your Volunteer Policy.  We can also provide
  support to meet the volunteering-related requirements of the LBTH Mayor
 ’s Community Grants Programme.\n\nThis session is suitable for experienc
 ed Volunteer Managers as well as those who are new to managing volunteers.
