 l Green\, London E1 4AQ  \nGuest Speaker: Amy Gibbs\n Amy will be speak
 ing to us about her experiences as a bisexual woman\, LGBTQ+ visibility an
 d leadership.\nAmy is a queer woman and co-parent to two boys\, aged 6 an
 d 3. She finally came out in her late thirties as bi\, after decades of re
 pression since her teenage years\, so she is passionate about LGBTQ+ visib
 ility and leadership\, in both her personal and professional life. With a 
 career spanning charities and local government\, Amy is currently Chief Ex
 ec of Tutors United\, which provides free English and Maths tuition to pri
 mary school children who need it the most. She is also Chair of the Childr
 en and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition and of Tower Hamlets Toget
 her\, the local integrated health and care partnership. Amy was previously
  CEO of Birthrights\, a Director at UNICEF and The Children’s Society\, 
 and a local councillor for Bethnal Green from 2010-2018\, including a stin
 t in the council’s cabinet overseeing adults and children’s services.\
 nBOOK YOUR PLACE\n\nWe meet twice a quarter at 6pm on the last Wednesday o
 f the month in person to discuss local current affairs\, share ideas on th
 emes or topics and feel connected.\n\nThe Tower Hamlets LGBT Community For
 um would like to welcome anyone who is interested in getting involved in t
 he Tower Hamlets LGBT+ Forum to come along before the meeting from 5.30pm 
 to find out more over a cup of tea. You are welcome to stay for the rest o
 f the meeting.\n\nAbout the Tower Hamlets LGBT Community Forum\n\nThe Foru
 m is a project that aims to bring together LGBT+ people (and allies) who l
 ive\, work\, study or socialise in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets to 
 discuss and have an influence on issues which affect the local LGBT commun
 ity\, as well as network\, socialise and meet other local LGBT people.\n\n
 The Forum holds monthly meetings where members come together to issues tha
 t affect the local and national LGBT community\, and meet other local LGBT
  people for both networking and socialising. The Forum also organises quar
 terly social events for members\, and undertakes research into the experie
 nces of local LGBT people so that LGBT voices are heard and represented in
  local policy making.\n\nAnyone\, LGBT+ people and allies who live\, work\
 , study or socialise in Tower Hamlets can join the Forum\, attend monthly 
 meetings\, and join in with discussion\, research\, and having a say on lo
 cal issues. You can be a local professional or a resident – everyone is 
 welcome.\n\nJoining the Forum is free and easy – email LGBTforum@elop.or
 g to request a member form.\n\nForum members receive monthly Newsletters a
 nd shorter ‘Newsflashes’ updating them on the dates and locations of m
 eetings\, and local LGBT news and events\, as well as updates on current o
 pportunities to get involved with local research and policy making.\n\nYou
