 t how the borough responds to refugees\, asylum seekers and recent arrival
 s from Ukraine\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease note - the forum meeting will be 
 hybrid format\, so that you can choose to attend in person or online. Plea
 se ensure that you choose the correct ticket at check out (in person or on
 line)\n\nTower Hamlets has a long history of welcoming and supporting newl
 y arrived migrants\, refugees and asylum seekers. In recent times\, refug
 ees from Syria and Afghanistan have resettled within the borough\, and now
  people from Ukraine are in need of support\, via the Homes for Ukraine Sp
 onsorship Scheme.\n\nHowever\, some migrants and asylum seekers are have N
 o Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF)\, meaning that they cannot claim certain
  benefits until they have obtained a permanent settled status or have natu
 ralised as citizens.\n\n 	How are local groups working to support those wi
 th NRPF?\n 	Is your faith or community setting involved in supporting refu
 gees?\n 	Are you involved with the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship?\n\nSpeak
