DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nJoin Tower Hamlets Interfaith forum meeting on how faith 
 groups support mental health in the borough\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this Event\n\
 n\n\nJoin us for our next forum meeting that will be looking at mental hea
 lth and the work that faith groups are doing to support their communities.
  Faith groups have long been a source of support for people way before the
  pandemic\, but Covid-19 has highlighted just how much work is being done 
 to help people that face mental health issues.\n\nBOOK HERE\n\nThis suppor
 t takes place in many different forms from coffee morning sessions to keep
  people socially connected\, befriending calls to combat loneliness and is
 olation and more structured activities such support groups for people with
  depression and bereavement support.\n\nThis forum meeting will consider:\
 n\n 	How we can highlight the tremendous work that faith groups in the bor
 ough have been doing\, particularly during the pandemic.\n 	How faith grou
 ps will have a big part to play as we emerge from the latest lockdown into
  the ‘new normal’.\n 	How statutory services can find out about the un
 ique role faith groups play for people with mental health issues.\n\nPanel

 have an update on the work of THIFF from Revd Alan Green\, chair of THIFF 
 and an update on hate crime statistics from Met Police\, along with the op
 portunity for attendees to share details of their work\, projects or event
