Tower Hamlets Connection Network Event

Tower Hamlets Connection Network Event

Thursday 30 November / 12.30 to 4.15pm / Feldy, 18 Aberfeldy Street, E14 0XA

This event aims to bring together local and national organisations working to reduce social isolation and loneliness, and present you with our new campaign to help connect residents.

Tower Hamlets Connection Network supports organisations to work together to share ideas, information and resources to deliver a stronger local response to loneliness and isolation, affecting our most marginalised residents. This event is hosted in collaboration with Tower Hamlets Council for Voluntary Service (THCVS) and key partners across Tower Hamlets.

The focus is to support organisations working on loneliness and social isolation to understand one another’s work, to network and identify potential for shared action to reduce isolation.

The aims of the event are to:

  • Share information about support for residents and identify opportunities to collaborate
  • Build connections across Tower Hamlets and wider VCS partners
  • Identify gaps in support and recommend solutions
  • Share our new communication campaign Just Say Hello we have developed in response to your demand

This event is suitable for all groups working to address Loneliness in Tower Hamlets, from estate or neighbour led projects to borough wide voluntary sector, health, community and statutory partners.
