DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 20 September / 10.00am to 3.00pm\n\nThis course will 
 help you explore ways to collect data that’s relevant to your organisati
 on and the people you serve\n\n\nOUTCOMES\nBy the end of the training\, yo
 u’ll:\n\n 	be able to confidently choose appropriate data collection met
 hods and tools\n 	know how to design and use data collection tools\, inclu
 ding questionnaires and interview topic guides\n 	know how to ask the righ
 t questions\n 	understand good practice in applying data collection proces
 ses.\n\nOn this course we refer to data collection for outcomes\, but the 
 learning applies to all types of evaluation.\n\n\nWHO SHOULD ATTEND?\nThis
  course is for anyone involved in running organisations\, programmes\, pro
 jects or campaigns who wants to better understand and articulate the work 
 they do.\n\nIf you need to design surveys\, interviews or other tools to f
 ind out whether your project is making a difference\, this course is for y
 ou.\n\nThe course is pitched at those who are newer to designing data coll
 ection tools and those who need a refresher.\n\n\nWHO DELIVERS THE TRAININ
 G?\nThis course will be run by an NCVO consultant with a specialism in eva
 luation and/or strategy.\n\nOur consultants work with more than 1\,000 vol
 untary organisations each year. They provide practical support through sel
 f and independent evaluation\, impact and strategy consultancy and organis
 ational development.\n\n\nHOW WILL IT BE DELIVERED?\nThis training will ta
 ke place on Zoom. We will send out the Zoom link with the joining instruct
 ions before the session.\n\nThe training will run from 10.00 until 15.00
  with short breaks and a longer lunch break.\n\n\n\n
