SUMMARY:The Future of Community Health - Insights and priorities from young
  adults
DESCRIPTION:Monday 14 November / 4.00 to 6.00pm / The Octagon At Queen Mar
 y University Of London 327 Mile End Road\, E1 4NS\n\nHow can we build trus
 t in our communities? Why are minoritised groups not well represented in r
 esearch? What are the health priorities of young people?\n\nDiscover what 
 young adults from the local area think!\n\nHear from students and graduate
 s from a number of London universities along with sixth form students from
  Beal High School as they share their insights and priorities for health i
 n our local community.\n\nTwo groups of young people who recently took par
 t in placements with Social Action for Health will present their learnings
  and showcase their work:\n\n 	A group of young adults\, who took part in 
 a summer work experience placement with Social Action for Health\, will di
 scuss their learnings about how we can build trust in our communities and 
 share their perspectives\, views\, and feelings regarding health and socia
 l wellbeing.\n 	Students from Beal High School sixth form will also share 
 work which they have done on health inequalities and representation in med
 ical\, and particularly genetic\, research. With support from staff at the
  Sanger Institute\, Social Action for Health\, and their teachers\, the st
 udents have researched these topics and will showcase their work in exhibi
 tion-style presentations.\n\n\n 	16:00-16:20 – Doors open with non-alcoh
 olic refreshments provided\n 	16:20-17:00 – Welcome and presentations fr
 om young people\n 	17:00-17:40 – Break to view exhibitions of young peop
 le's work\, opportunities for discussions and networking\n 	17:40-18:00 
 – Reflection and next steps\n\nThis event will take place in person and
