DESCRIPTION:This session is aimed at supporting local partners to gain an u
 nderstanding of what Safeguarding is and how important this is in support 
 substance misuse specific services to help keep people as safe as possible
 .\n\nThe session is designed to be accessed by all staff from various comm
 unity agencies and groups including:\n\n 	Mental Health\n 	Adult and Child
  Social Care\n 	Housing\n 	Probation/DIP/Community Safety\n 	Hostels\n 	Pr
 imary Care\n 	Employment and Education Services\n 	Local Community Groups
 \n\nBy the end of the workshop you will have some basic understanding of:
  \n\n 	What is safeguarding\n 	How to recognise abuse\n 	Key roles and re
 sponsibilities when supporting others\n 	Legal framework and core principl
 es associated with safeguarding adults and children\n 	Adverse Childhood E
 xperiences and cycles of abuse\n 	Common safeguarding risks we encounter a
 t RESET\n 	How RESET actively safeguard and the importance of partnerships
 \n 	How to refer individuals into treatment for support to help effectivel
