SUMMARY:Safeguarding Adults – Basic Awareness
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 6 September / 9.30am to 12:30pm\n\nA half day course to
  encourage delegates to explore their own feelings and responses to abuse 
 before refreshing their knowledge of the definition of abuse\, its forms a
 nd indicators\, and their role in the introduction to Care Act 2014\, Towe
 r Hamlets policies\, and any other relevant Safeguarding legislation. Spec
 ial emphasis to be placed on the need for reporting / whistle blowing.\n\n
 At the end of the training participants will be able to:\n\n 	List the dif
 ferent forms of abuse can take\n 	Describe the main indicators of abuse\n 
 	Describe the introduction to Care Act 2014\, Tower Hamlet’s policies an
 d any other relevant safeguarding legislation\, including the relevant flo
 wcharts\n 	Explain appropriate ways to respond to cases of abuse\n 	Descri
 be the Whistleblowing policy\n\nStaff that are not council employees shoul
