SUMMARY:RESET Training Presentation - Opiates
DESCRIPTION:– Monday 8th March 2021 1pm to 3pm\n\n This session is aimed
  at supporting local partners to gain an understanding of what opiate use 
 and dependency looks like\, it’s impact and associated risks\, physicall
 y\, mentally and socially. Alongside this\, we will identify and explore s
 upport options available.\n\nThe session is designed to be accessed by all
  staff from various community agencies and groups including:\n\n 	Mental H
 ealth\n 	Adult and Child Social Care\n 	Housing\n 	Probation/DIP/Community
  Safety\n 	Hostels\n 	Primary Care\n 	Employment and Education Services\n
  	Local Community Groups\n\nBy the end of the workshop you will have some 
 basic understanding of:\n\n 	Opiates and reasons for their use\n 	The sign
 s of opiate dependency and withdrawal\n 	The physical\, psychological and 
 social impact associated with opiates\n 	Legal considerations\n 	How opiat
 e dependency is treated\n 	What support options are available locally and 
 nationally\n 	How to refer individuals into treatment for opiate related i
 ssues in Tower Hamlets\n\nPlaces are limited and colleagues are requested
