DESCRIPTION:Family Support Service – Monday 31st October 2022 1pm to 3pm\
 nThis session is aimed at supporting local partners to gain an understandi
 ng of what RESET do to support families and significant others and how imp
 ortant this is in the context of keeping people safe and achieving better 
 recovery outcomes.\nThe session is designed to be accessed by all staff fr
 om various community agencies and groups including:\n\n\n 	Mental Health\n
  	Adult and Child Social Care\n 	Housing\n 	Probation/DIP/Community Safety
 \n 	Hostels\n 	Primary Care\n 	Employment and Education Services\n 	Local
  Community Groups \n\nBy the end of the presentation you will have some b
 asic understanding of:\n\n\n 	The impact of parental substance misuse upon
  children and families\n 	Facts and figures associated with substance use 
 and its effects on families\n 	What RESET provide to help and other option
 s for supporting families affected by substance use\n 	Couples therapy and
  it’s benefits\n 	First Steps support groups\n 	MPACT support programme\
 n 	Adverse Childhood Experiences and cycles of abuse\n 	How we work with f
 amilies in the context of safeguarding\n 	How to refer individuals into tr
 eatment for support in Tower Hamlets\n\n\nPlaces are limited and colleague
