 to 12.30pmDuring the pandemic many organisations moved their services onli
 ne and volunteering was delivered virtually or remotely. Now that some in-
 person services are starting again\, organisations are considering what vi
 rtual elements to retain and develop. During this interactive Peer Learni
 ng session\, we will consider good practice in relation to virtual volunte
 ering. Clare Derry\, Volunteer Programme Manager at Refuge\, a national c
 harity supporting women and children experiencing domestic violence\, will
  be sharing her experience of the benefits\, challenges and learning from 
 pivoting most of Refuge’s volunteering to be remote during the past 17 m
 onths and now beginning to resume in-person volunteering. We will discuss
  good practice in managing virtual volunteers including changing volunteer
  roles\, vetting\, support and supervision\, communication\, scheduling\, 
 diversity and inclusion\, retaining existing volunteers and maintaining a
