DESCRIPTION:Monday 4th April 2022 1pm to 3pm\n\nThis session is aimed at su
 pporting local partners to gain an understanding of what opiate use and de
 pendency looks like\, it’s impact and associated risks\, physically\, me
 ntally and socially. Alongside this\, we will identify and explore support
  options available.\n\nThe session is designed to be accessed by all staff
  from various community agencies and groups including:\n\n 	Mental Health\
 n 	Adult and Child Social Care\n 	Housing\n 	Probation/DIP/Community Safet
 y\n 	Hostels\n 	Primary Care\n 	Employment and Education Services\n 	Loca
 l Community Groups\n\nBy the end of the workshop you will have some basic 
 understanding of:\n\n 	Opiates and reasons for their use\n 	The signs of o
 piate dependency and withdrawal\n 	The physical\, psychological and social
  impact associated with opiates\n 	Legal considerations\n 	How opiate depe
 ndency is treated\n 	What support options are available locally and nation
 ally\n 	How to refer individuals into treatment for opiate related issues 
 in Tower Hamlets\n\nPlaces are limited and colleagues are requested to reg
