DESCRIPTION:Thursday March 24 / 7.00 to 9.00pm\n\nJoin Magic Me at Poplar 
 Union\, where you will have the opportunity to meet an amazing and inspira
 tional group of women. They will be showcasing Generation Rebellion\; the
  power of intergenerational activism\, part of a series of events for Inte
 rnational Women’s Day. The event will involve a film screening\, exhibit
 ion and workshop created by the older and younger women from East London\,
  as part of Generation Rebellion: a project exploring the climate crisis
  and what we can do to get our voices heard.\n\nLast Autumn\, young women 
 from Mulberry School for Girls joined forces with older women from East Lo
 ndon to explore what it’s like to be an intergenerational team of female
  activists. They shared perspectives and created artwork that redefines ho
 w generations can learn from and support each other to tackle the climate 
 crisis\, globally and locally. Their journey was captured by Colloquial Co
 llective Films\, documenting creative workshops led by artist Sue Mayo and
  climate activist Maz Koshika. In November\, Magic Me hosted a film screen
 ing and workshop via live video link at COP26\, the United Nations Climate
  Change Conference. You can watch the event and read their blog on the
