SUMMARY:London Women’s Rough Sleeping Census - Evidencing the extent of w
 omen’s rough sleeping
DESCRIPTION:Information session: 15 August / 11.00 to 12.00\n\nAs part of t
 he Life Off the Streets women’s workstream\, Women's Development Unit a
 t CSTM and Solace\, SHP and St Mungo's are delivering a women’s rough sl
 eeping census\, aiming to better capture data about the extent of women’
 s rough sleeping.\n\nResearch\, lived experience and the experiences of se
 rvices tell us that women are some of the most vulnerable within the rough
  sleeping and homeless population\, yet we also know that women are under-
 represented in rough sleeping statistics and provision.\n\nHow will it wor
 k? The methodology used will differ from the normal snapshot count in rec
 ognition of the fact that women sleep rough less visibly and are less like
 ly to meet outreach teams as a result. It will involve daytime outreach a
 nd a survey for a wide range of services who may encounter women who are r
 ough sleeping.\n\nThis will take place across a full working week 19th - 
 23rd September. This is the first undertaking of its kind on this scale a
 nd can have an important impact – Life Off the Streets Women's Workstre
 am are  keen to get as many people and organisations on board as possible
  to make this census as collaborative and successful as they can.\n\nJoin
