SUMMARY:Learning Workshop for Volunteer Managers: Making the Case for Volun
 teering Within Your Organisation
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 19 July 2022\, 10.30am - 12.30pm\, on Zoom\nFREE for or
 ganisations with a base or projects in Tower Hamlets\nWould you like colle
 agues and managers within your organisation to have a better understanding
  of and support for the volunteer programme? Could other internal teams or
  departments involve more volunteers and/or better support volunteers? Or 
 perhaps you want more financial support for the volunteer programme from i
 nternal core funding\, or for volunteer costs to be included in project fu
 ndraising applications?\nDuring this interactive Peer Learning session\, w
 e will hear from Recheal Valderama (Volunteer Hub Coordinator) and Grace P
 atient (Connect Newham Lead Co-ordinator) at Age UK East London\, who will
  share their experience of working to raise the profile and acceptance of 
 volunteering within their organisation\, and what was done to achieve this
 \, including successes\, challenges and learning.\nThere will be plenty of
  opportunities to discuss experiences\, concerns and solutions with peer V
 olunteer Managers in a safe and confidential environment. This session is 
 suitable for experienced Volunteer Managers as well as those who are new t
 o managing volunteers.\nPriority will be given to voluntary sector organis
 ations with a base/office in Tower Hamlets\, or that have services aimed a
 t Tower Hamlets residents\nCost:\nOur Peer Learning programme is kindly su
 bsidised by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH).\n\n\n 	The session
  is FREE to voluntary sector and public sector organisations with a base/o
 ffice in Tower Hamlets\, or that have services specifically aimed at Tower
  Hamlets residents.  However\, there is a non-attendance charge of £50 a
 nd this charge will be invoiced to your organisation if you do not attend 
 without giving 48 hours’ notice. There is no charge incurred if bookings
  are cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the start of the session.\n 	For
  any organisation without a base or services in Tower Hamlets\, the sessio
 n costs £50 per person.   The fee is non-refundable\, unless you give 4
