SUMMARY:Health and Wellbeing Forum
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 30 March / 10.00am to 12.00pm\n\nJoin us for a conver
sation on developing a VCSE alliance for the ICS for North East London and
the health and social care structures.\n\nThis is an online practical net
working event\, we recommend you join the session from a computer or table
t that allows you to participate in the activities.\n\nThis quarter's heal
th and wellbeing forum will build on the discussions we have been having a
bout developing a VCSE alliance for the Integrated Care System for North E
ast London and the health and social care structures in Tower Hamlets.\n\n
There is a lot of change taking place with the restructuring of the NHS at
a system level. Especially with the Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) which
are partnerships of health and care organisations that come together to pl
an and deliver joined-up services and to improve the health of people who
live and work in their area.\n\nTHCVS has been working with the other boro
ughs in North East London and NAVCA who are leading on supporting the sect
or to design structures locally that will hopefully engage as many organis
ations in developing a response. We would like to share the experiences of
how local organisations\, have been working with the emerging ICS systems
and at a borough level.\n\nThere will be presentations from organisations
working at a system level and with Tower hamlets Together at a borough le
vel and the primary care networks at the neighbourhood level. This will gi
ve you an opportunity to hear what has been working well and how we as bor
ough-based organisations can ensure opportunities for the diverse communit
y groups to be involved and structured to respond to the potential opportu
nities to influence decisions about the needs of the communities we serve.
\n\nThe presenters will include Rethink Mental Illness who are working on
a Mental health alliance\, Women's inclusion team on being part of a VCSE
alliance working with the NHS \, GP care group on working with PCNs and th
e Engagement team from NEL who will be able to answer your questions on th
e next steps\n\nYou might not see your organisation as working directly in
health but we all have a link and would be able to contribute to the oppo
rtunities that will come from the priorities for the ICS are:\n\n Employm
ent\n Mental health\n Long term conditions\n Children and young people\
