DESCRIPTION:Harm Reduction – Monday 19th September 2022 1pm to 3pm\nThis 
 session is aimed at supporting local partners to gain an understanding of 
 what Harm Reduction is and how we rely on this in support services to help
  keep people as safe as possible\nThe session is designed to be accessed b
 y all staff from various community agencies and groups including:\n\n\n 	M
 ental Health\n 	Adult and Child Social Care\n 	Housing\n 	Probation/DIP/Co
 mmunity Safety\n 	Hostels\n 	Primary Care\n 	Employment and Education Ser
 vices\n 	Local Community Groups \n\nBy the end of the workshop you will h
 ave some basic understanding of:\n\n\n 	What Harm Reduction is\n 	The phys
 ical\, psychological and social impact of delivering harm reduction interv
 entions\n 	Blood Borne Viruses\, Needle Exchange\, Overdose Prevention\, S
 afer Sex\n 	Specific harms associated with drugs and alcohol and appropria
 te interventions\n 	Legal considerations\n 	What support options are avail
 able locally and nationally\n 	How to refer individuals into treatment for
  support to reduce harm in Tower Hamlets\n\nPlaces are limited and colleag
