DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nThursday 29 June\, 2pm – 4pm\, online on Zoom\n\nWoul
 d you like your volunteer programme to be more diverse\, innovative\, ambi
 tious\, equitable and person-centred? Join this interactive and practical 
 peer learning session to discuss ideas and actions with other local Volunt
 eer Managers.\n\nThe Vision for Volunteering is a ten-year collaborative p
 roject designed to create a better future for volunteering. The Vision wil
 l be introduced to us by Sarah Tranter\, Learning and Storytelling Officer
  for the Vision for Volunteering at NCVO. You will then discuss ideas with
  other Volunteer Managers on what actions organisations could take individ
 ually and collectively towards the Vision themes:\n\n 	Power: how to ensur
 e the power of volunteers and communities is both supported and recognised
 \n 	Collaboration: how to increase collaboration with a variety of stakeho
 lders\, from volunteers to other community organisations to corporates\n 	
 Experimentation: how we make space for experimentation and doing things di
 fferently\n 	Equity and inclusion: how we can make sure volunteering is ac
 cessible and welcoming to everyone\, everywhere\n 	Awareness and appreciat
 ion: how to make sure that volunteering is valued and can be a part of eve
 ryone’s life\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBook your place\n\n\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nVenue:
  Zoom (the meeting link will be sent to you when your place is confirmed)
 \n\nPriority will be given to voluntary sector organisations with a base/o
 ffice in Tower Hamlets\, or that have services aimed at Tower Hamlets resi
 dents\n\n**Cost: Our Peer Learning programme is kindly subsidised by the 
 London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH).\n\nThe session is FREE to voluntar
 y sector and public sector organisations with a base/office in Tower Hamle
 ts\, or that have services specifically aimed at Tower Hamlets residents. 
 However\, there is a non-attendance charge of £50 and this charge will be
  invoiced to your organisation if you do not attend without giving 48 hour
 s’ notice. There is no charge incurred if bookings are cancelled at leas
 t 48 hours prior to the start of the session.\n\nFor any organisation with
 out a base or services in Tower Hamlets\, the session COSTS £50 PER PERSO
 N. The fee is non-refundable\, unless you give 48 hours’ notice of cance
 llation.\n\n\n\n\n\n
