SUMMARY:Creating a theory of change for your charity
DESCRIPTION:Thursday 21 September / 10.00am to 3.00pm\n\nLearn how to crea
 te your own theory of change and narrative. This course will challenge you
  to think critically about what you're doing and why.\n\nA theory of chang
 e is a popular tool used to help plan and communicate what you do. It can 
 also help support your monitoring and evaluation. It also will help you 
 articulate the changes your organisation wants to make and help connect 
 these changes with the activities you're planning.\n\nBy the end of the tr
 aining\, you'll:\n\n 	understand what a theory of change is and how it ca
 n be used for planning and evaluation\n 	know how to develop a theory of c
 hange\n 	have the confidence and skills to develop a theory of change for 
 your organisation.\n\n\nWHO SHOULD ATTEND?\nThis course is for anyone invo
 lved in running organisations\, programmes\, projects or campaigns who wan
 ts to better understand and articulate the work they do.\n\nAttendees of t
 his course are often responsible for internal monitoring and evaluation\, 
 strategy development\, communications\, or reporting on the value of their
  organisation’s work.\n\nParticipants range from project managers to lea
 ders of voluntary organisations and trustees.\n\n\nWHO DELIVERS THE TRAINI
 NG?\nThis course will be delivered by an NCVO consultant with specialisms 
 in evaluation and/or strategy.\n\nOur consultants work with more than 1\,0
 00 voluntary organisations each year. They provide practical support throu
 gh self and independent evaluation\, impact and strategy consultancy\, and
  organisational development.\n\n\nHOW WILL IT BE DELIVERED?\nThis training
  will take place on Zoom. We'll send out the Zoom link with the joining in
 structions before the session.\n\nThe training will run from 10.00 until
