 use\, Raine Street E1W 3AU\n\nThe council Violence against Women &amp\; Gi
 rls (VAWG) &amp\; Hate Crime (HC) Team invite the community of Tower Hamle
 ts to join us and the Mayor of Tower Hamlets at this event.\n\nThe aim of 
 the conference is to increase awareness and understanding of how Tower Ham
 lets council are aiming to ‘bring perpetrators to justice’\, which is 
 a key priority within the LBTH VAWG Strategy.\n\nOn the day\, you will hea
 r from expert speakers on:\n\n• Policing VAWG\n\n• Changing perpetrato
 r behaviours within the Positive Change Programme\n\n• Multi-agency supp
 ort and the risk management processes undertaken to manage young people be
 ing sexually/criminally exploited\n\n• Extremism and the links with miso
 gyny\n\n• Monitoring and enforcement against massage parlours and sexual
  entertainment venues exploiting women and girls\n\n• Understanding and 
 challenging 'harmful practices' and raising community awareness on Female 
 Genital Mutilation (FGM)\n\n• Designing pathways out of prostitution\n\n
 • Hospital Community Navigation Services and the processes undertaken fr
 om A &amp\; E to community\n\n• How courts respond to domestic abuse\n\n
 There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask panel members quest
 ions.\n\nThe conference is aimed at and relevant to all Tower Hamlets resi
 dents and members of the community and in bringing together these speakers
 \, participants will be able to deepen their understanding of topical issu
 es in the VAWG arena from multiple perspectives. This will enable particip
 ants to obtain a combined and current overview of both policy and practice
 .\n\nParticipants will also have ample opportunity to network with fellow 
 professionals during the afternoon.\n\n
