Today\, women and gir ls are subjected to many forms of human rights violations solely based on their gender. \n\n25th November also marks White Ribbon Day. The White Rib bon Campaign was first launched by a group of men in Canada\, in 1991 afte r the brutal mass shooting of 14 female students at the University of Mont real. The White Ribbon Campaign is now an international effort of men and boys working to end violence against women. Its basic principle is the imp ortance of men and boys speaking out against all forms of violence against women. \n\nTower Hamlets actively supports both campaigns.\n\nLBTH would love to hear your ideas or about any events you are hosting!
