From Saturday 17th October London is now classed as HIGH RISK  or Local Covid Alert Level Tier 2.

The guidance includes:

  • Londoners will be banned from mixing with other households indoors. This includes in pubs and restaurants. When outdoors, you must not socialise in a group larger than 6 people.
  • Single person households can form a bubble with another household.
  • New rules for exercising. Exercise classes can continue outdoors, but indoor classes are only permitted if it’s possible to avoid mixing with people outside your household.
  • Aim to reduce the number of journeys you take on public transport. If you need to use public transport, do so on off-peak times and wear a face covering for your entire journey.
  • Pubs, restaurants and other hospitality venues will still close at 10pm. You still must wear a face covering at all times, apart from when seated to eat or drink.
  • Schools, universities and places of worship are still open. The restrictions on numbers at weddings and funerals still apply.
