Identifying a job – in line with the current structure/ skills needed/ appropriate timelines/ HR planning
Advertising – language used/ appropriate advertising
Job application forms/ CVs
Interviewing – consistency/ clear assessment criteria
LEGAL ISSUES - UK employment statutory obligations where relevant
The course is aimed at any voluntary sector staff or manager who has responsibility for managing teams or groups of staff, and those who are responsible for organizational development roles, such as team office managers, administration staff or staff members with preparing staffing reports for trustee boards.
The course units can be attended individually, or people can sign up to attend all four sessions.
Course fees: This course is charged at £20 per session for THCVS members, £60 for non-THCVS members. If you are a micro or small group with very limited resources, please talk to us by contacting email@example.com to discuss applying for one of our limited number of sponsored places.
