This session brings participants up to date with the development of the Local Community Fund programme and how it will roll out over the next few months. The main focus of this session will develop more specific, detailed outcomes on the Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing theme, which will form the basis for the funding bids organisations will be making.

This session is one of a series of sessions delivered by Tower Hamlets Council to support the development of the funding themes and priorities of the Local Community Fund. This session will be repeated on 10th December 2018, so there will be an additional opportunity for you to take part if you can not make this session. Breakfast will be available.

The session will take the higher level discussions we have had so far about this funding programme to the detailed discussion of what organisations will be trying to achieve and the activities they need to be developing.

Previous funding from the Council has been quite clearly linked to service areas.  The themes in the Local Community Fund do not.  They are cross-cutting and all include priorities from at least two service areas.  It is therefore important that you look at all of the themes to see which priorities link to the activities your organisations provides or might be able to provide.
