The Forum aims to strengthen Training Employment and Enterprise in Tower Hamlets and to provide an opportunity for voluntary sector organisations to learn from each other and build new partnerships. This forum will focus on exploring how training, employment and enterprise can support disabled people into work.

 

The forum will have presentations from a range of services supporting disabled people into work.

Jason Barnett – Employment Manager, DeafPlus

Helen Forster and Minos Papadimitriou – Working Well Trust

Michael Cunnigham and Philip Price  - CRM system WorkPath and discussion on the broader roll-out of their CRM and its use by partner organisations

Jenny Dutton – WorkPath routes to employment case studies

 

As well a discussion with Tower Hamlets Growth & Economic Development on the current borough strategy and an introduction to Cooperate and how the group will support the voice of the sector with the local authority.

 

There will be opportunities to present on your work and network with agencies interested and active in supporting the economic well-being of Tower Hamlets residents.

The day will provide information on carrying through the role of chair and will consider some of the difficulties that can confront “the person in the chair”.
